Children's SW - Safeguarding Team - Northamptonshire

Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Safeguarding Team in Northamptonshire, where your expertise can make a real difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing intervention plans, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for those in your care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
  • Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive change.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in safeguarding meetings and contributing to multi-agency decision-making.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a safeguarding context.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
