Children's TM - Locality Team - Cotswolds
Join our dedicated Children's Team in the beautiful Cotswolds as a Qualified Social Worker! We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to provide high-quality support and intervention for children and families in need. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of children, promoting their development and welfare within the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing tailored care plans.
- Conducting home visits and engaging with children, parents, and other professionals to gather information and support interventions.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local policies.
- Providing advice, support, and guidance to families to empower them in overcoming challenges.
- Contributing to child protection conferences and court proceedings as required.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should possess:
- Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong assessment and analytical abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external agencies.
