Children's SW - Court Team - Aylesbury
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Court Team in Aylesbury. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families involved in court proceedings, ensuring their safety and well-being are prioritized.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families involved in court cases.
- Attending court hearings and providing evidence-based reports to support decision-making.
- Working collaboratively with legal professionals, health services, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to review progress and make recommendations for interventions.
- Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote positive changes and address safeguarding concerns.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work).
- Registered with Social Work England and up-to-date with CPD requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a court setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
