We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Court Team in Coventry. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people involved in court proceedings.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies
  • Attending court hearings and providing evidence to support decision-making
  • Working closely with children, families, and carers to empower them and promote positive outcomes
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of children

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Experience working within a Children's Services setting, preferably in a court team
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage complex cases, and make sound decisions
