We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's CPC - Safeguarding Team in Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being within the community. As part of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing cases, providing support and guidance, and working collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans in line with local and national policies.
  • Collaborating with other professionals, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions.
  • Providing support and advice to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
