We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Senior Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Islington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their well-being and safeguarding.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and developing care plans
  • Working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to provide holistic support
  • Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and reviews to ensure coordinated care
  • Completing assessments and reports in a timely and accurate manner

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and policies related to children with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
