As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, promoting resilience and positive outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in a locality team setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection.
