Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of expectant parents and their support networks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to address identified needs.
  • Facilitating access to appropriate services, including health, education, and social support.
  • Working closely with health professionals, midwives, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and working with families in a pre-birth context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload.
