Children's SW - Pre Birth/Family Help Team - Enfield
Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work team in Enfield, focusing on Pre Birth and Family Help. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to support families during critical stages of child development. In this role, you will work closely with expectant parents and families to ensure the safety and well-being of children, providing vital interventions and support to promote healthy family dynamics.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure that families receive holistic support.
- Providing direct support and guidance to families, including parenting skills training and emotional support.
- Monitoring and reviewing cases to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience in children's social work, particularly in pre-birth assessments and family support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with families and professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
