We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Liverpool Family Help Team on a temporary basis, offering a competitive rate of £45.00 per hour (umbrella). This role is vital in providing support to families in need, ensuring their well-being and safety while promoting positive outcomes for children and young people. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family support and child welfare, with a passion for making a difference in the community.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the Family Help Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans to address individual family situations.
- Engaging with families, children, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
- Monitoring and reviewing progress, adapting plans as necessary to ensure effective interventions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies.
The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and family support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
