Child Protection Advanced Practitioner - £37.00p/hr - Leeds
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Protection Advanced Practitioner to join our team in Leeds, offering a competitive rate of £37.00 per hour. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, ensuring that their needs are met through effective interventions and support. Your expertise will contribute to the development of best practices in child protection, working collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing child protection plans in line with statutory requirements.
- Managing a caseload of complex cases, providing high-quality support and intervention.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
- Providing guidance and support to less experienced social workers and team members.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child welfare.
