We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Corporate Parenting/Children in Care team in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people in our care. You will work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external partners to ensure the best outcomes for children, promoting their welfare and safeguarding their interests.
As a QSW in this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans in line with statutory requirements.
- Working closely with children, families, and foster carers to provide support and guidance.
- Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings as required.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of all interventions and communications.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience in child protection, corporate parenting, or children in care settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
