We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Looked After Team in Nottinghamshire. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of children and young people in care, ensuring their needs are met through effective support and intervention.
  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families to promote stability and positive outcomes.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with local authority policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within a looked after children or child protection setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
