In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

  • Providing ongoing support and intervention, monitoring progress, and reviewing plans regularly.
  • Working closely with schools, health services, and other organizations to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practice.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure while managing a varied caseload.
