Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Child Social Work (CSW) Team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring that their needs are met effectively.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families.
  • Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, promoting resilience and positive outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children's social work, ideally within a statutory setting.
  • Strong understanding of child protection legislation and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
