Children's SW - Fostering Team - Shropshire

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers and ensuring compliance with fostering regulations.
- Developing and implementing individual care plans for children in foster care.
- Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, ensuring they receive the necessary training and resources.
- Collaborating with multi-agency teams to promote the welfare of children and support their development.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local authority policies and procedures.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in fostering or child protection.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
