  • Providing advice and guidance to families and professionals regarding safeguarding concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of best practice within the service.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
