The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England (SWE) and a strong understanding of child protection legislation.
- Experience working with children and families, particularly in relation to asylum-seeking or refugee populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with children and families.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
