As a Qualified Social Worker in our Long Term Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Working collaboratively with families, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to provide effective support.
- Managing a caseload of children and families in need of protection and intervention.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legislation and best practices.
- Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance service delivery and personal development.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and working with children in need.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with children and families.
