Children's SSW - C&F Team - Isle of Wight

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
- Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to promote the welfare of children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in children’s social work, particularly with safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload independently.
