Children's SSW - Fostering Team - Wakefield
Wakefield is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Fostering Team. - Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and relevant professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies and procedures.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of service improvements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within a fostering or child protection setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare.
