We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Drug and Alcohol Team in Bradford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families affected by substance misuse.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families impacted by drug and alcohol issues
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children and families to ensure positive outcomes
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetings

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • A recognized qualification in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on safeguarding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases

Additional requirements for this position include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
