Bradford Children Trust-CP Coordinator (CP chair)
The Bradford Children Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced CP Coordinator (CP Chair) to join our dynamic team in the Care (Qualified) field. This pivotal role demands a passionate individual who is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. You will lead and coordinate child protection initiatives, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance the quality of care provided to vulnerable children and families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Chairing multi-agency child protection meetings and ensuring effective communication among all parties involved.
- Developing and implementing child protection policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
- Conducting regular audits and evaluations of child protection cases to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Providing training and support to staff and volunteers on child protection matters.
- Acting as a liaison with external agencies, including social services, law enforcement, and educational institutions.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant professional qualification in social work, child protection, or a related field.
- Significant experience in child protection or safeguarding roles, with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with diverse groups.
- In-depth knowledge of current legislation and best practices in child protection.
