We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Stockton on Tees. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Undertaking assessments to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to address identified needs and safeguard children.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic support.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
