We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager for our Safeguarding Team in Bury. As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Safeguarding Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of social workers and support staff to deliver high-quality safeguarding services.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to protect vulnerable individuals.
- Providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and ensure effective safeguarding measures are in place.
- Monitoring casework and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills that include:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities, with a proven track record in team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
