We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team in Leicester. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to provide high-quality social work services, focusing on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support children in need.
  • Working closely with families, schools, and external agencies to ensure coordinated support.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with local policies and legislation.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in a CIN setting.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to working in partnership with families.
