Senior Social worker- MASH Team- Croydon (£39p/hr)
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Croydon. As a Senior Social Worker in the MASH Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Collaborating with various agencies to ensure effective safeguarding and support for vulnerable individuals.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to junior staff and other professionals.
- Managing complex cases and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to care planning and decision-making processes.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, particularly within a MASH or similar environment.
- Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
