We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Tameside - QSW - EDT Team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality social work services to individuals and families in need within the community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for vulnerable individuals.
- Providing support and guidance to service users to promote their well-being and independence.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic support for clients.
- Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal frameworks to safeguard the welfare of service users.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
- Demonstrated experience in working within an EDT (Emergency Duty Team) setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and formulate effective interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse service users and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
