We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Team Manager for our ROTH Team in North Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality social work services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Managing a team of social workers and support staff to ensure effective case management and service delivery
- Providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members to promote professional development and best practice
- Leading on complex cases, conducting assessments, and developing care plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, policies, and procedures to safeguard the welfare of children
- Participating in strategic planning, service development, and performance monitoring to drive continuous improvement
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
- Significant experience in children's social work, including management and supervision
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and best practice in child protection and safeguarding
- Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize workload, and manage competing demands
