We are currently seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to join our Permanence/Assessment Team in Greenwich. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the flexibility of working 2 days from home. The hourly rate for this role is £44.50.
Key responsibilities and duties for this role include:
- Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Permanence/Assessment Team
- Providing leadership and guidance to a team of social workers and support staff
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation
- Participating in case reviews, assessments, and decision-making processes
- Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to promote positive outcomes for service users
The essential qualifications and skills required for this position are:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration
- Demonstrated experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a social work setting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
