Children's PM - Fostering Team - Northamptonshire
Join our dedicated team as a Children’s PM in the Fostering Team in Northamptonshire, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, stability, and well-being of children in foster care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of social workers and support staff within the fostering unit.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers and ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Providing guidance and support to foster families, including training and supervision.
- Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children in care.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience in children’s social work, particularly in fostering or adoption.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to safeguarding children.
