As a Children’s Social Worker in the CIC Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans that meet the individual needs of children in care.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and foster carers to promote positive outcomes.
- Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate services and support for children and families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development and practice.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
- Experience working with children and families, particularly in a social work or child protection setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and empower children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
