Social Worker - CWD Team - Harrow
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Harrow. This role is pivotal in providing support to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary services and resources to thrive. As a Social Worker within our team, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to promote the well-being and development of children with disabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to determine the needs of children with disabilities and their families.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are aware of available resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for the best interests of children and families.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Valid Social Work England registration.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or in a similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
