Children's SP - CIC Team - Staffordshire

As a Social Worker in our team, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing child-centered care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support, guidance, and advocacy for children in care.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and reporting.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for children.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in working with children in care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.
