Social Worker - Fostering Team - Wiltshire
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in Wiltshire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being of children in foster care, providing support to foster families, and promoting positive outcomes for children. As a Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, schools, and local authorities, to create a nurturing environment for children in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers and ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
- Providing ongoing support, supervision, and training to foster families.
- Developing and implementing care plans tailored to the needs of each child.
- Facilitating communication between children, foster parents, and social services.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in fostering, child protection, or family support services.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
