As a Children's Social Worker within our Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support children and families.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings as needed.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should possess:

  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage a caseload effectively.
