As a Social Worker in our Family Safeguarding team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans for families.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to family support.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, empowering them to achieve their goals.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
