The London Borough of Sutton is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Looked After and Children in Need (LP - CP) Team. Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks.

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, facilitating access to resources and services.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working with looked-after children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
