The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Social Worker to join our Corporate Parenting Team. To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working in children’s social work, particularly within a corporate parenting context.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
