We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Child Protection team in Salford. This role is integral to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide support and interventions that promote positive outcomes for children at risk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need.
  • Engaging with families to provide support, guidance, and advocacy.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services and interventions.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
