We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - MASH Team in Salford. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies to gather information and make informed decisions.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans that prioritize the best interests of children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies.
  • Providing advice and support to families, helping them access the resources they need.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A valid Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in a MASH or safeguarding setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
