We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in the foster care system, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families to develop individual care plans
  • Supervising and supporting foster carers to ensure they provide a nurturing environment
  • Conducting home visits and regular reviews to monitor progress and address any concerns
  • Liaising with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and support for children
  • Advocating for the best interests of children and promoting their rights and welfare

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
