Children' SW - Safeguarding Team - Peterborough
Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Peterborough as a Children’s Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families.

- Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation in line with statutory requirements.
- Engaging with children and families to build trusting relationships and empower them to make positive changes.
- Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
