Children's SW - Support and Safeguarding Team - Wiltshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Support and Safeguarding Team in Wiltshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and safeguarding services to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments to identify the needs and risks of children and families
  • Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide holistic support
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required
  • Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in children's services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child protection procedures and legislation
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
