Isle Of Wight - Senior Social Worker - Fostering Team

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing care plans.
- Providing supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care.
- Conducting regular reviews of foster placements and working collaboratively with multi-agency teams.
- Leading training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills of foster carers.
- Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in fostering or children’s social work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
